Sailors are constantly required to make their own decisions. They don’t always make the right ones, but the opportunity to think for themselves helps them to grow self-confidence.
Over time, sailors realise that working together not only helps speed things up, but also allows them to learn more from each other.
Short description
Sailing employs the wind—acting on sails, wingsails or kites—to propel a craft on the surface of the water (sailing ship, sailboat, windsurfer, or kitesurfer), on ice (iceboat) or on land (land yacht) over a chosen course, which is often part of a larger plan of navigation.
