Improves social Skills
Since kids from different backgrounds come to learn under one roof, the trainers promote compassion, leadership, and sharing. Kids will learn how to resolve conflicts and work with others harmoniously.
The class requires the students to show respect towards their coaches and to respect authority. They also learn to be polite, humble and develop humility. Young students are treated with the same respect as adults and are taught to return that respect to others.
Martial arts classes require children to work in a team environment and deal with other children of different ages, therefore building social skills with younger and older kids. They learn to cooperate and understand team behavior, as well as the opportunity to socialize with kids from different backgrounds.
Short description
Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport that allows striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, using techniques from various combat sports and martial arts. Victory in a match is normally gained either by the judges' decision after an allotted amount of time has elapsed, a stoppage by the referee (for example if a competitor can not defend himself intelligently) or the fight doctor (due to an injury), a submission, by a competitor's cornerman throwing in the towel, or by knockout.
